Yoshino Flowering Cherry
Yoshino Flowering Cherry is a broad spreading deciduous tree with an open crown and bark with prominent horizontal stripes. The simple dark green leaves turn yellow with bronze tints in fall. An early spring bloomer, the fragrant white flowers are followed by small bitter black cherries. Flowers best in full sun and rich moist well-drained soils.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: High Maintenance. Pests and diseases can be a problem. Watch for aphids, scale, borers, caterpillars, beetles and spider mites.
