Dawn Redwood is a fast growing, handsome deciduous conifer tree that features linear, feathery, fern-like foliage that is soft to the touch and a fluted trunk when it matures. Foliage emerges light green in spring, matures to deep green in summer and turns bronze in fall. Dawn Redwood produces oval, light brown female cones and pendant globule male cones. Prefers full sun and moist well-drained soil.
