Liberty Holly is a dense upright evergreen shrub with distinctive heavily serrated glossy leaves on dark stems.  Its inconspicuous white flowers giving way to abundant rede fruit that can persist well into winter.   Best planted in moist, slightly acidic well-drained soils.
