Armstrong Red Maple a deciduous tree with a tight and narrow columnar crown and dark green foliage with a distinct gray cast that emerges red and turning yellow-orange to red in fall.  Inconspicuous spring flowers.  Best color with full sun and rich, moist, slightly acidic well-drained soils.
