Redpointe Red Maple a deciduous tree with an upright pyramidal crown and silvery-green foliage on red branches that turns striking fiery red in fall. Inconspicuous spring flowers.  Best color with full sun and rich, moist, slightly acidic well-drained soils.  Redpointe is resistant to common maple pests and diseases and can tolerate high PH without yellowing.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low maintenance.  Water regularly.  Potential issues include stem canker, leaf spots, and root rots.  Potential insect pests include aphids, scale, borers, and leafhoppers.  Verticillium Wilt can be fatal.  Apply fertilizer before new growth begins in spring
